Organized Crime in Crimes Prevention & Resource Directory

     

American Organized Crime is a collection of articles on organized crime and the Mafia in the USA. Ultimately, I hope to cover organized crime from the earliest gangs right up to the present day, but with such a large subject it is easier to concentrate on one period at a time. For now, all my work is focused on the years before and during the Prohibition. This is partly because I like to start at the beginning, and partly because Prohibition was a huge factor in gangsters rise to power.
