This interview, obtained by “Dateline,” was conducted by a Harvardtrained psychologist, Robert Mendoza, who performs more than a hundred evaluations for criminal and civil cases each year. He was hired by the defense team to assess Rader’s sanity.The conversation was taped just a couple of hours after Rader had pleaded guilty to 10 counts of murder in June. Within hours of delivering those remarks, Rader spoke about his appearance in that courtroom.
