The purpose of Transparency International Canada Inc. TICanada is to inform businesses, government, and the general public of the effects of corruption in national and international marketplaces, and to provide support and resources for public and private sector initiatives to prevent corrupt business practices.The longterm goals of TICanada are that all levels of Government have effective antibribery measures; Canadian companies, their subsidiaries, supply and distribution chains do not bribe; the Government complies with and advocates for global and regional conventions against corruption; and transparency exists in all Canadian organizations.Launched in November 1996, TICanada is a voluntary notforprofit organization affiliated with approximately 100 other National Chapters and many others being formed, all around the world.
